Fostering Community Leaders

INRC strives to empower all community members. Working across sectors, we engage with residents who want to realize their full potential to make their communities wonderful.

INRC uses the principles of Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) to support residents and stakeholders as they build community upon the foundational strength of their neighborhood. Through training sessions and individual coaching, INRC supports neighborhood-based organizations as they discover their community’s assets and mobilize its capacities. Through this work, grassroots community leaders create and strengthen institutions, relationships and processes that support healthy, viable and sustainable communities.

INRC’s leadership development graduates include:

  • City-County Councilors
  • Mayors
  • Presidential Management Fellows
  • CDC Board Members
  • Ministers
  • Executive Community Members
  • and more!
